A coil has 1000 turns and 500cm^2 as its area. The plane of the coil is placed at right angles to a magnetic induction field of 2×10^-5 wb/m^2. The coil is rotated through 180° in 0.2 seconds. Find the average emf induced in the coil.

As we know induce end is rate of change of magnetic flux through coil
So magnetic flux through the coil is Φ= B×A= 1000×500×10^-4×2×10^-5 =10^-3wb
Emf= Φ/t = 10^-3/0.2 = 5×10^-3 volt
