Impulse = change in momentum = force x time

= final momentum - initial momentum

= 0 - (3000 kg)((108 km/h)

= - (3000 kg)(108/3.6 m/s)

= -90000 N.s

The impulse exerted on the car is 90000 N.s i.e. 90 kN.s
