A car covers a certain distance in 4 hours if it is travelling at a speed of 60km/hr . Howmuch time would it have taken if it were travelling 20km/hr faster ?

We know that speed is a physical quantity which is defined as the ratio of distance upon time.
Therefore,
distance = speed x time
distance = 60 x 4 = 240 km
 
If the speed was 60 + 20 = 80 km/hr
Then the same distance would have been covered in
time = distance / speed = 240 / 80 = 3 hrs
 
Thus, if the speed were 80kmph, it would have taken only 3 hours to cover the same distance.
