Let us assume that the North direction be positive and South direction be negativea and
Delhi is indicated by 0.
A bus travelled 120km to the north of Delhi.
0 + 120 = 120km
then the bus travelled 180km to the south.
120 - 180 = - 60
negative sign indicates South direction.
Therefore the bus is 60km far from Delhi.
