Firing speed of bullet = 50 m/s.

stopping depth of wall = 10 cm = 0.1 m

we use the equation " v2 = u2 + 2aS ", where v is final speed (v =0 here ), u is initial speed, a is retardation and S is depth of wall.

retardation a = 50×50 /(2×0.1) = 12500 m/s2
