A body weighs 64 kg on the surface on the Earth.What is the gravitational force on it due to the earth at aheight one third of the radius of the earth.

mass of body, m = 64 kg
radius of earth, R = 6400 km
g  = 9.8 m/s^2
Height, H = R/3
Thus gravitational forec will reduce to 9/16th of that at ground
