A body covers 12 metre in 2nd and 4th second.Find what distance the body will cover in 4 seconds after 5th second.

Though it is not given explicitly, I have assumed that the body starts from rest and the motion is with uniform accleration a .
 
At 2nd second,  velocity of body a m/s ; distance covered during 2nd and 4th second means travel duration 3 s.
 
hence distance covered in 2nd and 4th second = a×3 +(1/2)×a×3×3 = 7.5×a = 12 or a = 1.6 m/s2
 
after 5th second, velocity of body 5×a m/s; distance covered in 4 seconds = 5×a×4 +(1/2)×a×4×4 = 28×a = 28×1.6 = 44.8 m
