A block of mass 1.5kg placed on a rough horizontal surface is pulled by a constant horizontal force of 1.2 KGF the the coefficient of friction between the block and the surface is 0.3 find the acceleration produced in terms of g?

if a is acceleration of block of mass m , then we have  (F-f) = m× a  
 
Hence  acceleration a = (F-f)/m = (11.76-4.41)/1.5 = 4.9 m/s2
 
acceleration in terms of g = 4.9/9.8 = g/2
