Answer:
induced emf e = - dφ/dt , where φ = magnetic flux = B×A, B is magnetic field and A is area of coil.
here Area of coil is constant. Hence e = -A×dB/dt.
 
when the bar magnet enters the coil, dB/dt is +ve, hence induced emf is -ve
when the bar magnet exit the coil, dB/dt is -ve, hence induced emf is +ve
