A ball is placed near the periphery of a merry-go-round and is tied to its centre. Merry-go-round is rotating about an axis passing through centre. What will be your observation when you are standing outside the Merry-go-round? Explain it. What will be your observation when you are standing at the centre of the merry-go-round? Explain it.

When we are outside, we observe the ball is moving in a circular path. 
When we are at the centre of merry-go-round, we observe the ball is at rest.
