Why is the largest variety of oraganisma found on land?

Hi Mukund,

A large variety of organisms are found on land because organisms have gradually modified themselves in response to their environment. These changes have occurred gradually in stages and have resulted into the evolution of a new species. The occurrence of different stages of evolution in a species is not because of a single DNA change but a cumulative effect of changes in the genetic composition of species.
