When a ball is thrown upwards, its total energy (neglecting air friction) remains same. Give reason.

Conservation of Energy. Energy is conserved in nature. Energy can not be created or destroyed.
we can convert the energy from one form to other.
In the case of ball thrown vertically, potential energy(PE) keep on increasing and kinetic energy(KE)
keep on decreasing and the total of PE and KE remains same.
