This question is not clear to me.
All the options given has units of Work(Joules) whereas answer required as per question is pressure that has units Pascal(N/m2)
Units and dimension itself not matching between question and answer.
I assume ( x/l ) fraction of chain is on the table. hence pressure is [ mg(x/l) / Area ]. But there is no clue in the question to find area
