Let u be the object-to-lens distance, v be the image-to-lens distance and f is focal length of convex lens
given:- u+v = 100 cm; v = 75 cm;
hence u = 25 cm;
lens formula :- (1/v) - (1/u) = 1/f; as per sign convention v = +75 cm; u = -25 cm;
hence (1/75)+(1/25) = 1/f; we get focal length f = 18.75 cm
magnification = v/u = 75/(-25) = -3;
