Sulphuric acid is an electrolyte. It allows the electric current to flow through it. Electric current is a unique type of energy which evolves due to the flow of charged particles. For any flow to take place there should be a difference in energy levels. The cations and anions of this electrolyte tend to create the potential difference due to the difference in their energy levels. This potential difference acts as a driving force for conduction of electrcity. Thus, there will be no significant frictional force acting in it.
