How does atomic size vary as we move from left to right??
And are non metals electopositive and why??

Solution for your first query,
 
  • Atomic size decreases as we move from left to right.
  • This is because, the incoming electron gets added to the same orbital.
  • Hence, the attraction between the positive neutrons from the nucleus and negative electrons in the outermost orbital keeps increasing which results into decrease in size.
