Plants are the producers. They are eaten up by the herbivores; herbivores are eaten by the carnivores to meet the need of nutrition. These animals and plants when die decompose off by the microorganisms present in the soil called as saprophytes. The microbes undergo break down of complex compounds into simpler compounds to enhane soil fertility. The plants are again dependent on this soil fertility for growth. So in forests plants and animals are dependent. Removal of any of them destroy the balance of nature,
