Stokes formula is given by,  6π×a×η×v = m×g...............(1)

where a is radius of drop, η is coeff of viscosity, v is terminal velocity,
m is mass of drop and g is acceleration due to gravity.

Clubbing together all constants, we rewrite eqn.(1) as,   a×v = K×m ..............(2)

Let v' be the terminal velocity for the coaleased drop.
For coaleased drop, mass will be doubled and new radius will be begin mathsize 12px style 2 to the power of bevelled 1 third end exponent space a end style as explained below, if a is the radius of original drop.
begin mathsize 12px style V space equals space 4 over 3 pi a cubed space space semicolon space space 2 V space equals space 4 over 3 pi cross times open parentheses 2 to the power of bevelled 1 third end exponent a close parentheses cubed end style

from eqn.(2) we write, begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator a cross times v over denominator 2 to the power of begin display style bevelled 1 third end style end exponent cross times a cross times v space apostrophe end fraction space equals space fraction numerator m over denominator 2 m end fraction space equals space 1 half end style .......................(3)
from eqn.(3), we have begin mathsize 12px style v space apostrophe space equals space 2 to the power of bevelled 2 over 3 end exponent space v space equals space cube root of 4 space cross times space 5 space equals space 7.93 space c m divided by s end style
