When the falling object reaches the ground, Initial potential energy is completely converted into kinetic energy
 
mgh = (1/2)mv2
 
hence velocity at the ground is given by  begin mathsize 12px style v space equals space square root of 2 g h end root end style
 
hence the ratio of their momentum begin mathsize 12px style equals space square root of h subscript 1 end root space colon space square root of h subscript 2 end root end style
