Surface Tension of liquid surface force/length or energy/area .
 
Let us assume Surface tension of soap solution = 0.03 N/m
 
Then energy or workdone for 1 cm2 area = T×2A = 0.03×2×1×10-4  = 6×10-6 J
 
where A is area. bubble has two surfaces , hence area is multiplied by two
