ICSE Class 10 Answered
1.6mA flows through a conductor.if chage on an electron is -1.6*10 to the power -19coulomb,find the number of electrons tht will pass each second trough the cross section of tht conductor

Expert Answer
Current I = Q × t, where I is in Amphere, Q is in couloumb and t is in seconds
hence Q = I/t;
per unit second Q = I = 1.6 × 10-3 mC.
This charges flow are flow of electrons.
Hence this total charge is divided by electronic charge we get number of electrons.
