1. Sun is the main source of energy. It delivers a large amount of energy to the earth. The water on the earth from the sources like oceans, absorb energy for maintaining a constant temperature. It can absorb a large amount of heat at the equator without rise in temperature due to high specific heat of water. Also ocean water transports the heat away from the equator to the polar regions. And this transportation helps in moderate the temperature in the areas far from the equator. Thus, the ocean water can stabilize the temperatures on earth in winter and in summer seasons.
2. When the wet clothes are kept in open to dry, the water changes slowly in water vapour and evaporates. This water vapour goes into the air and rises up to form clouds.
