It takes place at all temperatures.

It takes place at definite temperatures.

Evaporation of liquid is takes place only to the surface of liquid.

Boiling takes place on every region of liquid.

Temperature may change during evaporation.

Temperature does not change during boiling.

The rate of evaporation depends on the free surface area of the liquid.

The rate of boiling is independent of the surface area of the liquid.

3. Water changes slowly in water vapour and evaporates. This water vapour goes into the air and rises up to form clouds.
