Hi,

The object creates depressions in the wet sand. The largest depression is created by the object when dropped from a height of 60 cm and the smallest depression when dropped from the height 20 cm.
This is because when the object is dropped from a greater height, its velocity increases and thus has more kinetic energy. Thus, the depression created in the wet sand depends on the height and the velocity of the object.
