When you have two negative integers as such and you have to operate them. Add the two integers and place a negative sign in front of the digit obtained.
For example, if you are given -2 -3, just add 2 and 3, which will give as 5 and place a negative sign in front of the digit as -5. This is also because both the digits are on the left side of '0' on the number line.
In your question just add the digits and place a negative sign at the front. so it will become -23-23 as -46.
