position vector r1 = ( 3 cos75 ) i + ( 3 sin75 )
position vector r2 = ( 4 cos15 ) i + ( 4 sin15 ) j
 
displacement vector = r2 - r1 = ( 4 cos15 - 3 cos75 ) i + ( 4 sin15 - 3 sin75) j = 3.087 i - 1.863 j
 
magnitude of displacement vector = ( 3.087×3.087 + 1.863×1.863 )1/2 ≈ (13)1/2
