CBSE Class 12-science Physics Refraction by Lens
- A tree is 18.0 m away and 2.0 m high from a concave lens. How high is the image formed by the given lens of focal length 6 m ? Ans is Focal length of the lens is f = -6.0 m, u = -18 m and h = 2 m ?1v=1f+1u=1(?6.0)?118.0?v=?4.5m ? The image size, h'= h [?vu]=2×[??4.518.0]=0.50m My doubt is the magnification is v/u for lens right?
- Why don't we use sign convention while deriving lens makers formula?
- obtain the lens formula in case of concave lens
- define lens maker formula
-
sole
- if for a perfectly symmertical lens, r1=r2, then how will we find focal length??
- Is convex always coverging or it depends on the conditions like refractive indices
- a person can see up to 1m the nature n power of which will enable him tosee things at 3m
-
ifany body dare tell this sum answer and post it.
- Derive lens formula for concave lens and state lens formula.
