Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to be Part of CBSE

CBSE students of Class 9 and 11 will now be tested on the lines of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Yes! The topic of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has been included in the Open Text-based Assessment (OTBA) tests.

CBSE wants the idea of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to become a habit, and therefore, this is a move to instil the idea of a clean India in the minds of children.

OTBA is a new medium of tests where in students are given a particular issue/subject and are tested on the basis of their knowledge towards the issue/subject. Modules based on Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Campaign have been included in the OTBA syllabus this time. OTBA is of 30 to 50 marks, and the marks are then included in the final score of students.
