Samsung Galaxy S5 coming to India

The wait is finally over. The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S5 is to arrive in India on 27 March.

The Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch FHD Super AMOLED (1920*1080) display, 2.5 GHz quad-core application processor, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and 2 GB of RAM.

The specialty of Galaxy S5 is that it is dust and water resistant. It has a Finger Scanner to ensure a secure, biometric screen-locking feature. Its new Selective Focus feature will help the user to focus on a particular area and simultaneously blur the background.

The S5 has an Ultra Power Saving Mode. This feature turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features to minimise battery consumption.

The S5 features a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel front camera.
