JEE Main paper contains 25 questions from each subject of Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Of these 25 questions, 20 questions are MCQs with one correct option and 5 questions are numerical value-based questions. The numerical value-based questions have no negative marking, whereas the MCQs have 4 marks for the correct answer and -1 for every wrong answer.
As per the JEE Mains Physics Syllabus, the Physics part is vast and consists of 21 chapters. An analysis of previous years’ JEE Main papers show that roughly 50% of the questions come from 5 to 6 topics. So, if students are thorough with these JEE exam preparation topics, it becomes very easy to score good marks. The list of the important chapters and topics are as follows.
