NEET-UG 2017 Correction Window Now Open
CBSE will allow NEET-UG candidates to make specific corrections in their applications from Tuesday, 07 March to Sunday, 12 March 2017, 11:59 pm.
This is the only opportunity for the exam candidates to make sure that their applications are 100% correct. Candidates should however, note that this one-time correction window is only for data that may affect the merit/result. CBSE will allow NEET-UG candidates to make specific corrections in their applications from Tuesday, 07 March to Sunday, 12 March 2017, 11:59 pm.
The following details can be corrected:
Identification: Candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhar will be able to add their Aadhaar number or the Aadhaar enrolment number in the online application form.
Candidates with nationality as Foreign, OCI, PIO and NRI cannot edit their identification identity.
Date of Birth: Candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhar (passport, ration card, bank account number, enrolment number and registration number).
A candidate whose DOB has been validated by Aadhar cannot change their date of birth.
Gender: Candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhar (passport, ration card, bank account number, enrolment number and registration number).
A candidate whose gender has been validated by Aadhar cannot make any change.
Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir can change the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.
Candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir can change their state code of eligibility to other states than these three only if they have their Aadhar number or Aadhaar enrolment number as exemption from Aadhar is only available to candidates of Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir.
Category and Disability Status: Candidates will have to pay the difference in the fee in case a category change involves higher fees. The change will reflect only if the difference is paid within the given timeline.
Medium and Examination Centre: Candidates who have given Tripura in their State of Eligibility or Qualifying Examination can change the medium of question paper as Bengali and choose Agartala as their centre.
Please use this opportunity and be very careful if at all you have to make changes. You may print the correction slips after completing the process for reference and record. Do not hesitate to take help from your parents in making corrections and payments wherever applicable.
