The Government of Maharashtra has announced that the syllabus of MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) will be at par with JEE and NEET exams from 2018. However, for the year 2017, students can follow the paper pattern based on the old syllabus. MH-CET is a gateway for admissions in health science degree, engineering & technology and pharmacy courses offered by various government and private colleges of Maharashtra. In this article, we tell you more about the test, the application form, eligibility, and exam dates.
MH-CET 2017 will be conducted on 11 May 2017. Students whose domicile is outside Maharashtra can apply to the state engineering college under 15% All India Quota Seats through JEE- Main 2017 score.

The courses offered under MH-CET are B.Tech, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BASLP, Nursing, Animal Husbandry courses & Pharmacy courses. The application forms will be available in the first week of March 2017.
Before you start the online application process, be ready with:
1. Scanned images of photograph & signature in the prescribed specifications
2. Application fee of Rs. 800 for open candidates and Rs.600 for reserved candidates with added bank charges wherever applicable.
3. Fee payment will be made through the E-challan of SBI Bank. Candidates are suggested to keep the printouts of the application form for further use.
MH-CET Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Engineering & Technology and Pharmacy Courses
1. Students should have cleared or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
2. Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
3. No age limit criteria for these courses.
Eligibility for Health Science Degree Courses
1. Candidates should have born on or before 31st December, 2000.
2. For Ayurvedic & Unani courses, students should have born on or before 1st October 2000.
3. Candidates should be medically fit.
4. Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject at the time of admission.
MH-CET Exam Pattern
The MH-CET exam is an offline pen and paper test. The questions are objective type.

MH CET 2017 Result
Results are announced in the first week of June 2017 and can be viewed on the official MH CET 2017 website. A merit list is separately prepared for admissions to all the courses.
Candidates should keep a printout of their results handy for the admission procedure. Applications for admissions are invited only after the verification of documents & eligibility.
