Maharashtra State Board Class 10 Board Exam 2023 Post Paper Analysis Maths Part 1 (13th March)

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education successfully conducted the SSC Mathematics – Algebra - Part I Paper for SSC students of Class 10 today, 13th March 2023.

Students rated the paper as moderate and were able to complete the paper in time. All questions were textbook-based, only few questions were tough. Activity-based questions were rated as easy.

The SSC 10 Math paper was of 40 marks which students were expected to attempt in two hours and extra 10 minutes were provided for reading the paper. All the questions were compulsory. However, an internal choice was provided in some questions. The paper comprises of 5 main questions, 3 of which were divided into parts A and B.

Chapters – Linear Equation in Two Variables, Quadratic Equations and Statistics, each had 20 marks with options. Chapters – Arithmetic Progression, Financial Planning and Probability, each had 8 marks with options.

Experts rated this paper as easy to moderate. We agree that the Math paper was moderate and most students would be able to score 35+. Overall, it was a scoring paper.
