Maharashtra SSC Result 2023 Declared - Get all the details here

The Class 10 results for the Maharashtra Board were declared today, 2nd June, at 11 am. Students can check their scorecards on the official Maharashtra Examination Result website starting at 1 pm. They can also get their results via SMS or check them on the Digilocker app and website.

The Maharashtra State Board examinations for class 10 were conducted in the month of March from the 2nd to the 25th across the state. Over 15 lakh students appeared for the exam this year, of which 14.34 lakh have passed.

Last year, the overall pass percentage was 96.94%, which indicates a slight 3.11% decrease in this year’s results. In 2022, girls scored better than boys at 97.96%, while the latter scored 96.06%. Konkan division scored the highest pass percentage in 2022 with 99.27%, and Nashik the lowest with 95.9%.

Registration for the Central Admission Process for Class 11 will be online on the 11th Admission Portal. The dates will be announced soon.

How to Check the Result?

Students can check their results on the official websites, including the Maharashtra results, the MSBSHSE SSC result and the MKCL results websites. They can further get their scores via SMS. The Digilocker website and app are another way students can get their entire scorecard.

1. On the Website

  • Visit any of the above-mentioned official websites.
  • Click on the link given for Maharashtra SSC result 2023.
  • Enter your roll number and mother’s first name in the respective slots.
  • Click on ‘View Result’
  • The result should now be visible on the computer screen.
  • Check your scores and download the result for future reference.

2. Via SMS

Students can check their scores via SMS. Type MHSSC, add a space, write the seat number, and send it to 57766.

JR College Admission: Process, Timeline and Cut Off

The Maharashtra First-Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) registration for part 1, form filling and verification, started on 25th May 2023.

Admission Process

The admission process for FYJC starts with the application submission, denoted as Part 1. The procedure includes the following:

  • Students must first refill up the registration form by entering the necessary details.
  • Once submitted, the login ID and form number will be shown on the screen and sent to the registered mobile number.
  • Important information will appear on the screen, which should be printed for future reference.
  • Click on ‘Proceed to Log In’, then log in to your dashboard.
  • After completing the application form, you should upload the relevant documents as mentioned on the website and pay the registration fee.
  • After fee payment, lock the application form.

The selection of the colleges is called Part 2. The selection procedure is mentioned below:

  • Visit the official registration website and click on the region of choice.
  • On the respective region page, you need to log in.
  • A new registration form will pop up, which you must fill out and submit, complete with all the necessary details, such as stream, college, and hostel information.
  • Next, upload relevant documents.
  • The class 10 marks will be retrieved automatically by the website for Maharashtra board students when filling up the Part 2 form. Students from other boards must enter their marks manually.
  • Students can choose from 1 to 10 junior colleges in the order of preference.
  • Finally, review and submit the form.

Following this, the four rounds of admission will take place in the month of August.
