Maharashtra Achieves Higher Pass Percentage

Maharashtra has achieved a higher pass percentage in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results which were declared on 17 June. The success rate of the state has gone up from 76.2% to 81.8%.

 

Of the 17 lakh students who appeared for the exam, 14 lakh students passed. Interestingly, about 40,797 students scored above 90% in the exam. The number of students who scored above 90% in Mumbai has increased from 9,500 to 11,509.

 

This is the best performance of the state in the last four years. Siddhinita Wandekar from Sharon English High School, Mulund, and Neha Patil from Canossa High School, Mahim, both with 97.4%, are among the highest scorers from Mumbai.
