JEE Main 2022 Paper Analysis - 26th June (Shift 1 & 2)

JEE Main 2022 exam commenced on 23rd June 2022. Day 4 –26th June 2022 Shift 1 was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Shift 2 from 3:00 pm till 6:00 pm for Paper 1 BE/B.Tech. The question papers for both shifts comprised 90 questions, 30 from Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The students were given a total time of 90 minutes to complete their exams. Every correct answer would be rewarded 4 points, while an incorrect one will lead to the deduction of 1 mark.

1st Shift, 26th June 2022: Major Highlights

Students who appeared for the JEE Main 26th June 2022 Shift 1 exam summarised the paper in the following statements:

● The JEE Main 2022 question paper was moderately difficult but was easier than the previous year’s (2021) JEE Main paper.

● The difficulty level of numerical answer-type questions was average.

Overall: The paper was moderately difficult, with the Mathematics section being the most challenging and Physics the easiest of all.

● Its pattern was somewhat similar to the previous year’s (2021) JEE Main paper.

● Chemistry was relatively easy, but Physics was moderately difficult.
