JEE Main 2022 Paper Analysis - 24th June (Shift 1 & 2)

JEE Main Day 2 –24th June 2022 had Shift 1 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Shift 2 from 3:00 pm till 6:00 pm for  Paper 1 BE/B.Tech. The question papers comprised 90 questions, 30 from Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry each. The overall time was 90 minutes. ● The JEE Main 2022 question paper was easier than the previous year's (2021) JEE Main paper.

● Basic NCERT questions formed a major portion of the paper. So, a student who had practised them well would find the JEE 2022 question paper moderately challenging.

Physics was of medium difficulty, but incorporating a few tricky numerical-based questions made it relatively challenging.

● The Maths section had a few lengthy questions and was above moderate in terms of difficulty for an average student.

● The paper could easily be completed within the given time slot.

Key points

Weightage was given to chapters such as Vectors, Conic Sections, and 3D Geometry.

Few NATs (numerical answer type questions) demanded lengthy calculations, making the section tricky for students.

Inorganic Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Organic and Physical Chemistry.

This section was, however, easier and doable.

 

 

It was a balanced section.

Almost all chapters are covered with a few fact-based questions from Semiconductors.

Although numerical-based questions had lengthy calculations, they were easy.
