JEE 2020 and NEET 2020 fresh dates to be announced on May 5

Providing students with a much-needed sense of relief, the HRD Ministry on Sunday announced that the new dates for JEE and NEET will be announced on 5th May 2020. The JEE and NEET exam dates were changed multiple times this year because of the COVID-19 Pandemic in India.

India is in its third phase of lockdown and the ministry is positive that the graded relaxation that is being released will allow the ministry to successfully conduct the exams.

The NEET and JEE dates had to be postponed multiple times this year which brought a lot of stress to all the students appearing for the exam. The silver lining in a situation like this was obviously the gift of time but frequent postponement tends to harbor fears and doubts. The phase that we are going through was not anticipated by anyone and for everybody’s wellbeing, it was important to halt any gathering including exams.

However, the ministry must have come up with an alternate plan now and are planning to conduct the exams by taking the required precautionary steps. Till the dates come out, use this time to prepare, study and revise.
