IIT Delhi's Open House on 19 April

The creative innovations of students of IIT Delhi will be on display on 19 April 2014. Projects such as a solar-powered refrigeration system, plastic from potato starch, a thermometer to check haemoglobin instantly and other such projects will be showcased. The exhibition aims at targeting school and college students.

An official from IIT Delhi said, "The platform of Open House is our endeavour to bring in education, research, innovation and competent designs into the realm of the market and quench the desire of young minds to know more about technology." 

This is the 10^th edition of the Open House with about 140 live demonstrations and commercial projects.
