ICSE Class 10 Semester 1 2021 Post Paper Analysis- Maths (6th December)

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the Mathematics Theory Paper for Class 10 today, 6th December 2021. The 40 marks paper that students attempted was for one and a half hours. All questions were compulsory.

Here we decode the ICSE Class 10 Math Semester 1 Paper for 2021 with the final review and analysis of the Class 10 Maths Paper.

Chapter-wise Distribution of Marks

Number of Questions per Chapter

The chapter' Ratio and Proportion' had the highest marks and the number of questions asked. 'Commercial Mathematics' also had an equal number of marks but fewer questions than 'Similarity', which had the second-highest number of questions. 'Linear Inequations' and 'Quadratic equations' had few questions asked.

According to some students' reactions and experts' feedback, the ICSE 10 Maths paper's difficulty level was moderate to easy and doable. The paper's difficulty level was somewhat similar to that of the ICSE Maths Specimen Paper, and some students feel glad that they solved it. We, too, agree that the paper was moderate, with some questions requiring more time to solve.

Nevertheless, it is now time to focus on the following paper, and everyone at TopperLearning wishes students all the very best! For more paper reviews and exam updates, stay tuned.
