ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2018 Post Paper Analysis

The Council of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education conducted the Mathematics Class 10 examination today!

The paper was easy with a few medium level questions, and we expect that most students will score 90+ marks in the paper, which had questions asked from all major topics. Students who have gone through the Sample Papers, Past Year Papers and Most Important Questions provided by TopperLearning would feel like rewarding themselves.

 The overall question paper was divided into two sections.

The section on Unit Algebra had major questions asked from Matrices, Quadratic Equations, AP, GP, Remainder Theorem, Factor Theorem and Linear Inequations.

The section on Trigonometry included questions on Identities and Applications. Statistics included finding Mean, Median, Lower Quartile and drawing of Histogram.

Coordinate Geometry had questions from Section Formula, Equation of Lines and Reflection.

Commercial Mathematics contained questions from the chapters Shares and Dividends, and Recurring Deposits.

Mensuration included a question on Cylinders and a question based on the Combination of Solids, Q. 10 (b), whose video solution is included in the analysis by a TopperLearning expert.
