ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Semester 2 2022 Exam Analysis

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Semester 2 board paper today, 13th May 2022. The paper was based entirely on the reduced syllabus prescribed by CISCE and was yet another scoring question paper with all the expected questions well-practiced through the various pre-boards. The exam was 40 marks, and the time allotted for the examination was 1.5 hrs.

So, here we decode the ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Semester 1 Paper for 2021-22 with its final review and analysis. 

Question Paper Structure-

For this academic year 2021-22, ICSE followed a reduced syllabus released on its official website. The question paper comprised of two sections, A and B. Section A covered 10 MCQs of one mark each. Section B covered four subjective type questions carrying ten marks each, out of which three questions were to be attempted. 

Students and Experts Feedback-

We got some mixed reactions from students. According to some students, the chemistry paper was as per their expectations and they may get full marks.  And for some students, a few of the questions have been tricky and difficult. According to experts, it was a straightforward to average paper.

Conclusion-
