Disabled CBSE Topper shines in PM Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’
Anushka Panda scored 97.8% in CBSE Class 10 under the disabled category
You might come across stories of ‘Girls outshine boys in CBSE Class 10’ or ‘A girl has the highest percentage in CBSE Class 10’, but on 29th July 2018 at the 46th episode of Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’, unique praise made our entire country happy. The praise that proved that India still respects the differently-abled people and their achievements.
A differently-abled girl from New Delhi named Anushka Panda was recently praised for her hard work and dedication. Anushka Panda (15) was suffering from a rare disease of spinal muscular atrophy, which has abated her body, but it has not stopped her to fulfill dreams. She scored 97.8% in CBSE Class 10 under the disabled category.
PM Narendra Modi referred to her as an inspiration and role model. He said, “If you achieve anything with your hard work and determination, then you have the ability to do wonders as Anushka Panda.”
CBSE Topper Anushka wishes to become a software engineer and wants to enrol in IIT.
