Over the past years, the designing field has increased in terms of demand and has emerged as the most sought after course in the Arts stream. Designing is considered one of the highly developed fields and requires trained people who are creatively innovative and artistic. If you are probably planning to pursue a course in designing, then make sure you choose the right course—one which fits your efficiency and knowledge. Remember a career in design is not just restricted to the fashion industry or to interior designing but also to the many other fields which we list below.

Fashion Design

The fashion industry has come a long way from the time to designing clothes for royal highness to haute couture products of the present. A fashion designer is not just restricted to designing clothes according to the season and latest trends but also requires hardcore skills which include keeping oneself informed about the fashion industry, business and technology. Importantly, you should have the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

Interior designing is all about decorating the interiors of the house and is a process in which analysis, knowledge and research are combined with artistic skills to create interiors which fulfil clients’ requirements. It is not only limited to selecting colours and decorating home furniture but also involves high value-based research on safety norms for the house and important architectural elements, including monitoring the floor space index.
