A cricket fan needs no introduction when we talk about Dale Steyn. Such is the magic!

Dale William Steyn was fascinated by cricket from a young age. He began playing cricket when he was 11 years old.  He was born on 27 June 1983 in the small town of Phalaborwa, where the scope of becoming a great cricketer was faint. However, today we see that nothing can deter Steyn and he is indeed a great bowler. The energy and the pace Steyn possess are incomparable. Today, he is one of the vital aspects of the South African team. 

Steyn was the ICC 2008 Test Cricketer of the Year, and he has also topped the ICC test rankings from 2008 to 2014.

Steyn is a right-arm fast bowler and the fastest South African player to reach 100 wickets in Test Match Cricket. He is considered one of the fastest bowlers in the world. He bowls at the speed of about 145–150 km/h. His fans are definitely expecting a great performance from him this World Cup. His competitive nature, aggressive bowling and extreme dedication towards the game make him one of the ace bowlers.

Although Steyn loved cricket since childhood, bass fishing and skateboarding were his favourite outdoor activities. Steyn loves fast-pace bowling and wants to be the quickest player in the world. Well, we see that he is on the right path!
