Dale William Steyn was fascinated by cricket from a young age. He began playing cricket when he was 11 years old. He was born on 27 June 1983 in the small town of Phalaborwa, where the scope of becoming a great cricketer was faint. Steyn is a right-arm fast bowler and the fastest South African player to reach 100 wickets in Test Match Cricket. He is considered one of the fastest bowlers in the world. He bowls at the speed of about 145–150 km/h. His fans are definitely expecting a great performance from him this World Cup. His competitive nature, aggressive bowling and extreme dedication towards the game make him one of the ace bowlers.
