CBSE to hold World Book Fair

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to host the World Book Fair 2014 in Delhi. The fair will start on 15 February and continue till 23 February. The basic aim of the fair is to promote reading among children.

CBSE aims at motivating teachers and parents to encourage reading habits among children.

A source from CBSE says, "With computer-generated games, electronic devices and programmes battling for children's attention, educators and parents need to give children every opportunity to explore the wonders of the written word."

This seems like a good initiative taken by CBSE to inculcate reading habits among children.
