CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Girls

The scholarship is for admission to classes 11 and 12 (CBSE affiliated) and the last date for applications is 15 September, 2014.

The CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme provides scholarship to deserving girls (single), who are the only children of their parents. The scholarship is for admission to classes 11 and 12 (CBSE affiliated) and the last date for applications is 15 September, 2014.

Students who have passed the class 10 examinations with 60% or marks with the tuition fee being not more than Rs.1500 per month are eligible for this scholarship. It is for Indian nationals only and is given on the basis of merit.

Through this scheme, CBSE aims to recognize the efforts of parents who are promoting education of the girl child and encouraging commendable students.
