CBSE Exams will Include Value- Based Questions From This Year!
According to sources, the questions will be for 5 marks in a paper of 100 marks and 3-4 marks in a question paper of 70-90 marks. This will be effective from the forthcoming final examinations - classes XI and XII - in 2013. Further, the board exam in 2013 (class XII) will also have such questions. All schools affiliated to CBSE have been requested to make it a part of their assessment in class XI.
A potential question in economics would be framed like this:-
A father in his will gives 40% each to his son and daughter and 20% to his servant who has been with him for long. Why has he done it and what is the value addition?
Answer: Gender equality and charity.
