CBSE commences Term 2 Board Examinations For Classes 10, 12 From April 26; To Be Held Offline

The Term 2 board examination for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted on April 26, 2022, by CBSE (Central Board Of Secondary Education). Last year, the board could not execute assessments during the second wave of COVID. As a result, it was obliged to design an alternate evaluation scheme to prepare results. The results for the term-1 examination, held in November and December, are yet to be announced.

Students can check their Term 1 results by visiting the official website and clicking on “CBSE 10th Term 1 Results 2022” or “CBSE 12th Term 2 Results 2022” based on the class they want to check for. Then, they have to write their examination roll and date of birth and press “Enter.” The results will appear directly. Then, students can check their results and download the mark sheet, and then the qualified students can prepare for Term 2 Board Examinations. Students must start their preparation soon as the tentative date for the Term 1 result announcement is next week.

According to Dr. Sanyam Bharawaj (the controller of the CBSE examination), the board has decided to conduct the Term 2 examination from April 26, 2022, after discussing with the stakeholders and keeping the current scenario Covid-19 in mind. For the first time, the central board is conducting the examination in two terms due to the pandemic situations.

The CBSE will release the date sheets of both the classes on the official website www.cbse.nic.in before the date. Students can download the sheet and prepare their syllabus accordingly.

Here are the highlights of the Term 2 Board examination of CBSE Class 10 and CBSE Class 12

●       The question pattern and the syllabus will be the same as the previous years, and no modification will supposedly happen.

●       Students can prepare themselves from the sample papers published on the official website last month.

●       While students had to answer multiple-type questions in Term 1, they will have to appear for long and short-type questions in Term 2 board examinations.

●       CBSE will conduct the examination for two hours.

●       Only the candidates who have registered for the examination can sit for the paper. No candidate without registration will be allowed to take the test.

●       The students will have to appear for the test offline in their allotted examination centers as conducted in previous years.

●       The Health Ministry is arranging for vaccination for the students who will be appearing for the board examinations so that they can give their boards safely.

The board has warned students about false Term I result announcements and disinformation about Term II exams. CBSE has decided to take strict actions against those students who are circulating wrong information on social media. In addition, the CBSE reaffirmed in the term-2 test notification that if any student finds exam-related material on social media, they should cross-check the data from the official website to avoid getting misinformed. Besides, students can also contact their school officials to verify any new information they receive about the 1st-grade result or the 2nd-grade test schedule.
