CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Post-Paper Analysis 2018

Finally, the CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Board Paper is over.  TopperLearning is here with the analysis of the CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Paper for the year 2018.

Difficulty Level of Paper

If we analyse the difficulty level of the paper, it was quite similar to that of last year. That is, 40% of the paper consisted of direct questions and 60% of the paper consisted of indirect questions. The direct questions were quite easy to attempt. However, some of the case studies were tricky and confusing. Overall, the paper was of average difficulty level.

 

Chapter-wise Marks Distribution

Some variations can be observed with regard to chapter-wise weightage of marks.

In Section A, the weightage of Chapter 1 (Nature and Significance of Management), Chapter 5 (Organizing) and Chapter 6 (Staffing) has increased from last year and that of Chapter 2 (Principles of Management), Chapter 4 (Planning), Chapter 7 (Directing) and Chapter 8 (Controlling) has reduced from last year.

In Section B, the weightage of Chapter 11 (Marketing Management) has reduced and that of Chapter 12 (Consumer protection) has increased from last year.
